Jeff
Driven by an unwavering fascination with all things automotive, Jeff made a bold career transition in 2016. He courageously bid farewell to his position as a locomotive engineer, choosing instead to embark on a path fueled by his deep-seated passion for the automotive field. This pivotal decision marked the genesis of AutoVentures, a venture born from a desire to turn a hobby into a thriving enterprise. Initially, the prospect of building and servicing vans wasn't the explicit plan, but the demand and positive impact of this service quickly propelled it to become the core and most sought-after aspect of our business, solidifying its position as the heart of AutoVentures' offerings.
In 2018, we expanded our services to include full vehicle conversions, and Sig, our VW expert, joined the team. Our growth accelerated significantly in 2020, as we completed over 100 wiring harnesses, several complete conversions, numerous upgrades, and initiated a pilot program for general automotive repairs.
We are dedicated to continuous improvement, always seeking innovative ways to enhance our services and provide an exceptional experience for our valued customers.
Connor
Connor, a passionate fisherman and true outdoor enthusiast, has a natural talent for leadership, frequently guiding his brothers and close-knit group of friends on unforgettable adventures into the wilderness. Possessing certifications in both fabrication and welding, he has proven to be an invaluable member of our team since his arrival in May 2021. Starting his journey with us providing essential support to our harness operations, Connor's skills and dedication quickly shone through, leading to his current specialization in crafting bespoke fabrication and conversion services, where he truly excels. Connor likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain. He's not much into health food, but thinks Spotted Cow is pretty great.
Jacob
Jacob has been a valuable part of our team since he joined full-time in April 2023, following several years of dedicated work with us during his free time. His extensive experience in building and fabricating makes him an invaluable asset. As a seasoned Vanagon owner and a true adventurer at heart, Jacob's enthusiasm and skills have made him an outstanding addition to our team. Beyond his professional expertise, Jacob is a loving husband to his wife, a doting father to his one child, and possesses an insatiable curiosity and passion for all things technical. Whether it's tinkering with minibikes or delving into the intricacies of solar and electronic accessories, Jacob approaches every project with enthusiasm and a readiness to tackle any challenge that comes his way.
